The Hackensack Hospital hosted its annual designer Showhouse in a less than stylish early 1970’s home. Given the task to create a comfortable and heavily layered great room was a challenge. To begin an important rug from Beauvais set the tone for the custom upholstery covered in Lee Jofa fabrics and dramatic drapery stretching twenty feet revealing a dramatic and rich paisley, also from Lee Jofa. A mix of mid century furniture from Lobel Modern sits harmoniously with a Biedermeier console and desk from Karl Kemp Antiques.
